Privacy
Short version: I collect email addresses (if you give one), payment info (handled by Stripe, never stored here), and anonymous traffic stats. That's it. No ads, no trackers, no data sales.
Who "I" am
MindGlitch is operated by Exystems, LLC. Reach the operator at hello@mindglitch.app.
What I collect
- Email address — when you subscribe to the Glitch Report newsletter, buy the deck, or submit a review.
- Name + billing country — collected by Stripe during checkout, passed to me so I can email you and comply with tax rules.
- Purchase records — Stripe session ID, amount, date. Kept 7 years for tax/accounting compliance.
- Anonymous traffic stats — page views, referrer, approximate country. No personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking. Served by Cloudflare Web Analytics (a cookieless analytics service).
- Your submitted reviews — if you send a testimonial via the feedback form, I store the text + any display name you provide.
What I do not collect
- Credit-card numbers (Stripe handles all of that; I never see the card).
- IP addresses beyond what Cloudflare logs briefly for abuse prevention.
- Cross-site browsing history, ad-tracking IDs, or fingerprints.
- Your physical location beyond country-level (from billing, for taxes).
Cookies
One first-party cookie, named mg_access. It's set only after you buy the deck and click the unlock link in your welcome email. It stores a signed token that tells the site you have access — nothing else. HTTPOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax, lifetime 365 days. You can delete it any time in your browser settings; you'll just need to re-unlock from the welcome email.
No advertising cookies. No third-party trackers.
Third-party services (processors)
- Stripe — payments. Stripe's privacy policy.
- Resend — transactional + newsletter emails. Resend's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, static hosting, R2 file delivery, Web Analytics. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Each only receives the minimum data they need to deliver the service they provide.
Retention
- Newsletter subscription (Glitch Report — weekly) — until you unsubscribe.
- Purchase records — 7 years (US tax/accounting retention).
- Anonymous traffic stats — 90 days.
- Reviews — until you ask me to remove them.
Your rights
You can ask me any of the following by emailing hello@mindglitch.app:
- What data I have about you
- To correct anything that's wrong
- To delete it (I'll keep bare minimum for tax records only if legally required)
- To unsubscribe from email (or use the one-click link in any email)
- To transfer your data to another service (export as JSON)
Response time: within 30 days. Usually within a day if I'm not traveling.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, I'll email active subscribers and note the change at the top. This version is effective 2026-04-22.
