Terms

Short version: you pay once, you get the deck and every current + future feature, for personal use. Don't resell it. 30-day refund, no questions. If a bias costs you money, that's on the bias — not on me.

Who's providing this

MindGlitch is operated by Exystems, LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company. "I" / "me" / "we" throughout this document means Exystems, LLC. "You" means you, the human reading this page or using the product.

What you're buying

A single purchase of MindGlitch Full Access ($59, or the price shown when you bought) gives you:

  • Access to all interactive modes (Spot-the-Bias Quiz, Swipe Deck, My Blindspots, Decision Pre-Flight, Decision Journal, Curated Lenses, Decision Templates) for as long as the site is live.
  • The Field Guide e-book, Cheat Sheets, Printable Deck, and Anki Deck Export, delivered via signed download link.
  • Every future feature that ships to the paid tier, at no extra cost.

This is a one-time payment. No auto-renewal.

License (what you can do with it)

The content, illustrations, text, and any downloads are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use on any number of your own devices. You can print the PDFs. You can take notes on the cards. You can argue with the definitions.

You can't:

  • Resell, relicense, or redistribute the content in any form.
  • Scrape or bulk-export the site to republish elsewhere.
  • Remove copyright notices or attribution.
  • Use the illustrations or text to train a machine-learning model.
  • Share your unlock cookie / download links publicly.

Quoting a bias or two in an article or social post with attribution to mindglitch.app is fine. That's the whole point.

Refunds

30 days, no questions asked. Email hello@mindglitch.app with the email address you purchased with, and I'll process the refund.

When you refund:

  • Your mg_access cookie grant is revoked.
  • Your download links stop working.
  • You're unsubscribed from any paid-tier emails.
  • You can re-purchase later at the then-current price — but you can't refund-then-keep-using.

If you refund multiple purchases, I reserve the right to block future purchases from that email.

Honest disclaimers

MindGlitch is an educational reference. It's not therapy. It's not medical advice. It's not a guarantee of better decisions.

Knowing about a bias doesn't necessarily fix it (that's literally what "Bias Blind Spot" is about). The cards give you vocabulary, detection cues, and defense playbooks drawn from published research — whether you get better at catching yourself is up to you.

I've done my best to cite accurate research. Some findings in cognitive psychology have replication issues (the field has been honest about this since the 2010s). If you're about to bet your career on a specific bias existing exactly as described, double-check against the primary sources I link to.

Availability

I aim for high uptime but make no guarantees. The public site runs on Cloudflare's edge network (which is very reliable). The paid-tier interactive modes run on my server (which is generally reliable but can go down for maintenance). If the site is offline for more than 30 consecutive days and I haven't refunded you, you can demand a refund.

Changes to the product

I might add features. I might remove features that nobody uses. I might change how the modes work. If I remove something significant that was part of your original purchase, I'll email paid users and offer a refund if the change meaningfully reduces the value you bought.

Your conduct

Don't use MindGlitch to harass people, train a competing product, or break any laws. Don't abuse the feedback form or webhook endpoints. I'll revoke access to obvious bad actors without refund.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: Exystems, LLC's liability for any claim related to MindGlitch is limited to the amount you paid me. I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (lost profits, lost opportunities, relationship damage, etc.). You use the educational content at your own discretion.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA. Any dispute that can't be resolved over email goes to the courts of Pennsylvania.

Changes to these terms

If I change these terms materially, I'll email active paid users and note the change at the top. Continued use after 30 days means you accept the new version. If you don't, email me for a refund within that window.
